The ELCA convention that met in Minneapolis had a number of issues that they were voting on this year, among them a statement on sexuality, and allowing the ordination of gay ministers. Just before the vote, they had an interruption. From out of no where, from all reports, a tornado hit the outside of the convention center.

Could this have been a “little nudge from God” that maybe this was in violation of scripture?
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. How can they be a minister of the gospel if they are not even going to heaven? Yes, we love them, but we do not condone their sin, and let them live in it. The Bible puts homosexuality on the same level as adulterers, thieves, drunkards, and extortioners. One sin is not any worse than the other. Sin is sin, and it needs to be repented of, and the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ can give them a new start, just as it has done with us all.
